Student Consultations:

 

If assistance is needed for individual students, our consultants are available to complete functional assessments to develop behavior intervention plans and individualized academic programs.  All of our staff are behavior analysts and utilize evidence based procedures to provide a different or insightful view as to possible options for intervention.  We are experienced in working within public and private school systems.  Within these systems we are often part of a team which often consists of teachers, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, aides/shadows, and administrative staff.  After a program plan is developed for the student, our consultants are also available to provide ongoing support, training, and supervision to ensure the program is carried out effectively.

 

  
Assessment:

 

The purpose of this type of assessment is to obtain a comprehensive profile of a child’s development, including behavioral, cognitive, visual skills, language, communication, motor, social and daily living skills.  It provides important information and guides treatment.  The assessment is recommended before the start of a treatment program.  Yearly re-evaluations also provide more insights for further treatment planning, reviewing a child’s progress and measuring the effectiveness of a treatment program.
